Location settings

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services
  2. Review which apps have access
  3. Set apps to "While Using" instead of "Always"
  4. Turn off "Precise Location" where not needed

Android

  1. Go to Settings → Location
  2. Tap App location permissions
  3. Review and adjust per app

Lock screen privacy

  • Hide notification content on lock screen
  • Disable "Hey Siri" or "OK Google" on lock screen
  • Use a strong PIN or biometrics

Browser privacy

  • Use private/incognito mode
  • Clear cookies regularly
  • Consider a privacy-focused browser like Firefox or Brave
  • Use a VPN on public WiFi

Social media privacy

  • Review privacy settings regularly
  • Limit who can see your posts
  • Disable location tagging on photos
  • Be careful with third-party apps
