Export to a PST file
Step 1: Open the export wizard
- Start Outlook
- Click File
- Select Open & Export
- Click Import/Export
Step 2: Choose the export type
- Select Export to a file
- Choose Outlook Data File (.pst)
Step 3: Select the folders
- Select the top folder
- Check Include subfolders
Step 4: Save the file
- Click Browse
- Choose an external drive or cloud storage
- Give the file a clear name
- Click Finish
Restore a backup
- Go to File > Open & Export
- Click Import/Export
- Choose Import from another program or file
- Select your PST file
